Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Sophie is a 2-year-old Siamese cat who loves food, toys, and being brushed. She hates loud noises and sudden movements. We got her from the shelter almost a year ago and she has never really settled in at our house. We thought it was because we have boys in the family and she seems leery of them, but we recently realized that she isn’t comfortable around loud noises and sudden movements… which describes most of our family. She would be a great companion for an elderly person! She loves her scratching post and has never had issues clawing furniture or walls. She is housebroken and is an inside cat. She is a funny and curious little girl who likes to do things like stick her paws under the door when you are in the bathroom, or watch birds and cars through the windows. Full disclosure: the only issue we have had with Sophie is that when we first got her from the shelter she did have a rare occasion when she would pee outside of the litter box. The vet believes that was a stress response and it hasn’t been an issue in months.
