** In a foster home; please call 812-349-3492 for more information** Afraid of husky reputations? Don't be! Thomas is the most mellow, easy-going husky you'll ever meet. This blue-eyed boy is gentle, sweet, quiet, always happy, and has excellent house manners--including when he's home alone. The most drama he'll give you is some side eye if you offer him vegetables as a "treat." Thomas spends most of his days napping, sometimes with the cutest little soft snores. And he rarely makes any demands. But he's always game for whatever you might want to offer him. A walk around the neighborhood? Loves it. Doesn't pull much and enjoys sniffing the grass. Ear and neck scritches? Of course! Belly rubs? Yes, please! Hiking in the woods? Wonderful! Car rides? The best! He'll happily hop in and out as requested, and absolutely loves sticking his head out the window, feeling the air rush over his face. Learning new commands? He's also into it, especially when it means getting rewarded with treats and scritches. Thomas already knew "sit" and "shake" before being fostered, but learned "down" in very little time, and also now knows to auto-sit before food, going outside, or getting leashed up. He's now learning "watch me," "up up," and "off off." Thomas is pretty indifferent to squeaky toys, balls, or other kinds of chew toys, but every now and then enjoys chomping away on a bone. He doesn't make a great first impression around other dogs or cats, but gets along very well with his foster sister (a young shepherd-husky mix). They keep pace with each other on walks, get along around the house, and enjoy lying in the shade together after tumbling around in the grass. Thomas is so easy to love!!
