He thrives in an outdoor coop or free-range environment where he has plenty of space to patrol and keep watch. He is exceptionally social and attentive with his hens, always prioritizing their safety and well-being. While he is a fierce guardian against predators, he is a 'good citizen' rooster who knows his job. He would do best in a home with a flock of hens to manage.
