Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Zeke is a rescue from a neglect situation. He is about 3 years old. Zeke has a habit of barking at new people, but has not been aggressive. It takes time to earn his trust, but it is doable. Zeke is an energetic, playful boy and incredibly snuggly once he trusts you. He deeply loves his chosen people. He is not leash trained, but he is eager to please and I believe he could learn with patience and trust. Zeke does have issues around food insecurity that come out in the form of chewing on things he should not. This has improved in the time we’ve had him with consistent meal times and amounts of food. He should not be homed with cats, as he will chase and bark at them. Introductions with new dogs should be done in a controlled manner as Zeke has been attacked by a much larger dog.
