When she was rescued we were told she is a blue heeler, but I suspect she is a mix, perhaps with a beagle, as she has the ears and howl of a beagle. Bela Jean is very cuddly and affectionate with humans. She wants nothing more than to be in your lap or tucked close by your side. However, she can at times be possessive and has recently taken to occasionally resource guarding her people from other dogs. Bela Jean is house trained, but we do leave puppy pads available through long work days, which she will occasionally use. Bela Jean does pretty well on a leash and loves her trips to the vet. She will bark at cats. Bela Jean is great with children, especially if they throw a squeaker ball or run and let her chase them.
