Web Form: We live on the corner of Acuff Road and Kinser Pike. Under the thick layer of soil and big pile of leaves lies our metal storm drain. Rain rushes and washes dirt from the farm field behind our house via the deep trench along the side of Acuff Road (obviously we have NO curbs or rain gutters), and all that debris ends up on top of our storm drain. The drain is consistently covered and therefore clogged, so all the rain water rushes right over it and flows onto Kinser Pike. We are constantly cleaning all the collected debris from the grate even though we pay for this cleaning/maintenance service on our monthly water bill. We are in desperate need of a solution to this problem.
Per CBU supervisor, the storm drain has been cleaned off. I called the customer to notify her, left a voice message.
