Other: I was driving east, trying to go straight through the Covenanter/College Mall intersection. I was in the eastbound straight lane right behind the stop bar. The signal did not detect my vehicle (a small SUV) and I ended up sitting through three light cycles (westbound traffic was getting a green, but not eastbound) before more vehicles came up behind me and then finally got a green light. I've experienced this same thing routinely on bicycle and I've learned to wheel over onto the sidewalk and push the button, but this was the first time it's happened to me in a car and I didn't really have any options other than to sit. Thank you for your attention.
