Phone Call: Rec'd. a call from Mayor's Office. An anonymous caller stated to them that she was driving behind a yellow vehicle (611) when a piece of wood fell off. The driver did not stop to pick up wood - continued driving. Caller felt this was careless and wants to be sure all materials in back of trucks are tied down or secured in the future.
This matter was referred to Tom Staley, Asst. Dir.-T&D Dept. Tom spoke with driver. He did not remember incident and would have stopped if he had known wood had fallen off of truck. Will make sure things are secured.
