Sidewalk Snow Removal: Request
Phone Call: MR. CARRICO HAS A HOUSE AT 1231 S FESS, THE CORNER OF FESS & BRENDA AVENUE. FESS AVENUE HAD WORK DONE AND THE STREET NOW SLOPES IN SUCH A WAY THAT ALL THE WATER DRAINS INTO THE BASEMENT AT 1231. THE STORM DRAIN IS ON THE HIGH SIDE OF THE STREET. MR. CARRICO HAS INSTALLED A RETAINING WALL AND WAS GOING TO BACK DIRT UP TO THE WALL, BUT THE CONTRACTOR STATED THAT THIS WOULD NOT PREVENT THE WATER FROM GOING INTO THE BASEMENT.

Runoff from Brenda Lane is flooding basement at 1231 South Fess Ave. A 120 foot asphalt curve will be placed on top of Brenda Lane to channel flow away from Mr. Carrico's property and force runoff down Fess Ave. Asked Bobby Chestnut of Street Dept. to perform work as time and crews allow.
