House at 3000 N. Lakewood Court Bloomington 47408 has had abandoned refrigerator, smoker, and other trash in driveway and on front porch for several months. Also has a large pile of yard waste next to the driveway. Homeowner is rarely present and appears to live at a different residence. Outside lights are always on.
House has sump pump pouring out water down N Harold St onto E Alice St & east onto alley. It has eroded all gravel and is a hazard.
Neighbor called to inform department that windows have recently been broken and doors busted open.

derelict property with animal infestation
This "temporary" fence has gone up every weekend since the end of August 2017, and the photo here is from today (Sat.Sept.16). It is held up by begs of sand or concrete(?), and pails with cinderblocks on them. The fence is made of plywood boards not attached to each other but resting on the aforesaid "supports". As the boards are large and heavy, it is likely they could hurt someone should they tip over during one of the many loud parties the fence enables.The fence also enables the partiers to avoid being seen by the police when passing by looking for the source of the loud parties and allows the partiers to espy the police cars coming to shut down their parties. Please inform the occupants of the house that they should not erect this fence, not only for the danger to passersby and to themselves, but because they requested permission to build such a fence from the Bloomington Historic Preservation Commission in June 2017 and permission was refused.
