Robin reports that much electrical work and plumbing work was done at the house without the proper permits and that the work was not done properly. Mr. Williams lives next to apartment complex that's currently repairing retainer wall on west end of lot but not on east end which is closest to him. Problem is that railroad ties have fallen on east end and have been covered by growth. Mr. Williams has seen many cars go over the edge that have needed to be towed out. Also, he's concerned about children in the area and the hazard this poses to them. To eliminate this hazard he would like east retainer wall repaired and growth removed.
garage behind this house is very unsafe and needs to be repaired or removed.
The structure is falling apart. The screens in the windows are hanging out and there is debris (chairs, trash, etc. ) in the front yard.
There is a stone wall located @ 1224 South Palmer that is falling down, some pieces have already fallen onto the neighbors yard. Please contact Mary Lou Mitchell (complaintants sister) @339-5096 with updates to the situation. There are also old gutters on the ground directly behind 1212 South Palmer, you can not see them from the street so you have to get out and go behind the house.
