When you drive west on Allendale Drive to Walnut Street Pike, you cannot see to the right when pulling out into traffic. Vehicles drive so fast on Walnut St. Pk. there is an accident waiting to happen. Trees and bushes need to be trimed back looking both left and right. There are a lot of senior citizens living in Sherwood Oaks so we need to make sure we do all we can do to make it safe for them. Please take a look at this problem. Thank you!

Where Sowder Square meets Allendale Drive in Sherwood Oaks you cannot see traffic coming from the right. Almost everyone on Sowder Square has accidentally pulled out in front of traffic because they can't see traffic coming. The large bush needs to be removed before there is an accident and somebody gets hurt. Can you please take a look at this issue for the residents on Sowder Square. Thank you!

The intersection at Woodlawn and 11th street poses significant potential danger to drivers, walkers, and bicyclists. I walk past this intersection every day and have seen several near-accidents. I propose a 3-way stop at this intersection. Vehicle traffic going North and South is always traveling quickly and don’t always see walkers crossing Woodlawn. In some cases, I have witnessed drivers stopping to allow walkers to cross. But, this causes drivers going one-way on Woodlawn to attempt to cross. I propose implementing 2 stop signs on 11th street. This will allow walkers and bicyclists the right of way, and will help drivers better communicate between Woodlawn (one-way street) and 11th Street.

I've noticed quite a few cars traveling south bound on Washington Street between 12th and 10th at a fairly high rate of speed, especially as they crest the hill at 11th. With the new development at coming to the High Point commercial property on North Walnut at 11th, I feel like Washington is going to start seeing a lot more traffic heading downtown. Could traffic calming measures be investigated for this stretch of road?

Traffic is horrible on W. Third and W. Second going west to east. We have to go thru parking lots to get anywhere. Or, go all the way to 46. Lanes are closed off and no one is working.

Hello, The stop lights at the intersections of Jordan and Atwater, and the intersection at 3rd and Jordan, are not synced. As a result, people driving to and from campus get hit by both stop lights. They used to be synced up with one another so drivers would make both lights if they were traveling east or if they were traveling west. Now, no matter what, you'll have to stop at one of them. Also, the green turn arrow light always comes on at the intersection of Jordan and 3rd, even if there is no traffic. This creates weird delays for people trying to leave campus. I know these complaints of mine are trivial, I'm not sure how much it would take to re-sync the stop lights. But I've worked on campus for years and it was perfect - now this happens and hundreds of people have to stop for 2 separate stop lights 4 or 5 times a day when it used to be zero stops.

There is a large tree that blocks the view of the east side of the road on 8th street from Roosevelt street. There have been many close calls with traffic and I think it's dangerous. The only way to see traffic coming from the east side is to pull up past the tree, but by then you are already halfway in the road. I would appreciate it if this tree could be cut down or at least cut in a way that makes it possible to see the road. Dunstan and Allendale Dr. there is a 4-way stop sign. This is also the location of a City bus and MCCSC school bus. When walking from West to East down Allendale Dr. cars are at exceeding speeds over 25 MPH, and today while kids were are the bus stop multiple cars "rolled-through" or did not even stop at the stop sign. I believe this is a safety for our kids. Can there be consideration for speed reduction, traffic calmers, or speed bumps in our neighborhood?
