Park Ridge West on Longview: He was there last night, the security light is out. Also, there really needs to be 2 lights there instead of 1, without it, it is really dark. Needs the light ASAP.
Mr. Miller states that since the City installed sidewalks along E. Third Street that bicyclists are riding on these sidewalks at high speed. It is very dangerous for pedestrians and one day he will be hit. Is there anything the City can do?
Students from Bloomington High School North park their vehicles on Valleyview Drive, mainly from Winding Way to Parkview Drive. Mr. Steele would like to have some type of signage indicating that this is resident parking only. I explained to him that the Neighborhood Parking Program is currently on hold to add any more areas and that the only sign would be "No Parking". This is the 2nd Baptist Church and Rev Butler and Suzanne Faulk are requesting handicapped parking on the corner of 8th and Rogers and the other nearby.
Mr. Eccles lives at Eighth and Lincoln. People park in front of his driveway. He has spoken with the Traffic Commission. The Police come out often, but the problem isn't solved. What Can be done.
There is a north/south alley that runs between 7th & 8th Streets behind Keller Heating & Cooling. There is another east/west alley that intersects the n/s alley ending in the Johnson Creamery parking lot. Sharon states that one of their employee trucks were recently hit using these alleys. Sharon feels that the intersection is dangerous if you have vehicles coming from different directions. She would like for the City to look at these alleys to see if there is anything the city or owners co
