MCKEE STATED THAT HIS NEIGHBOR IS PARKING HIS CARS IN THE ALLEY AND BLOCKING IT FROM ANYONE TRYING TO DRIVE THROUGH IT. MCKEE HAD THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT COME OUT APPROX. 2 YEARS AGO WITH THIS SAME PROBLEM. THERE WAS A DISCREPANCY WITH WHAT WAS THE NEIGHBOR'S PROPERTY AND WHAT WAS THE CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY.
THE SIGNAL TIMING AT THE INTERSECTION OF BRYAN/THIRD/HIGH STREET NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT. TRAFFIC OFF OF HIGH STREET GETS PRIORITY, THEN THE SIGNAL ON BRYAN STREET IS ONLY GREEN FOR LESS THAN 4 SECONDS (PEOPLE RUN THE INTERSECTION AT ALL TIMES. TONE STATED THAT IT IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN.

There is a north/south alley that runs between 7th & 8th Streets behind Keller Heating & Cooling. There is another east/west alley that intersects the n/s alley ending in the Johnson Creamery parking lot. Sharon states that one of their employee trucks were recently hit using these alleys. Sharon feels that the intersection is dangerous if you have vehicles coming from different directions. Mr. Adams states that crossing east third street is dangerous. He states that there is no crosswalk and he has observed children and seniors having difficulty crossing the road. He wants to know if the City has plans to correct the problem.
The problem is actually in the sharp curve on Ramble Road East as soon as you come in off of North Dunn Street. There are bushes/tree limbs that have overgrown into the street causing drivers to go over into the oncoming lane. This is a problem in this sharp curve when you cannot see someone coming the other direction.
As you come off of N. Old ST RD 37 onto Blue Ridge Drive there are tree limbs that have overgrown into the street causing a problem for bicycle riders as well as drivers.
