NO ONE goes the speed limit by this school. You placed 20 mph beacons that begin at 7:25 a.m., but they are ignored. If you had a police vehicle sit at the area once a week, I'm sure people would drive the speed limit. The speeding in the area makes it difficult to turn in and out of the school. Thank you.
Hello, I live in an apartment complex on 8th and Grant street on the 3rd floor, and my window overlooks a particular intersection on the corner of E. 9th street and Grant St. My desk is right in front of the window, and I often see near collisions at this intersection, sometimes multiple times a day and hear them when people honk. I have seen two actual car crashes at this intersection in the past month, including one today (the first one was on 9/3/16 ). 9th street is a one way, and there is no stop sign, so people will often speed through it and traffic on Grant cannot stop in time or they do not see the other vehicle due to vehicles parked on 9th street. I truly believe that there needs to be a stop sign installed on 9th street at this intersection to get people to be more careful. I hope to hear back from someone regarding this issue, if possible. Park Ridge West on Longview: He was there last night, the security light is out. Also, there really needs to be 2 lights there instead of 1, without it, it is really dark. Needs the light ASAP.

There is a large tree that blocks the view of the east side of the road on 8th street from Roosevelt street. There have been many close calls with traffic and I think it's dangerous. The only way to see traffic coming from the east side is to pull up past the tree, but by then you are already halfway in the road. I would appreciate it if this tree could be cut down or at least cut in a way that makes it possible to see the road. The photo is the view from Roosevelt looking left to 8th street at the stop sign.

Earlier this evening I was in the left lane of Atwater, just west of Jordan Ave, and was behind another, taller car. The car in front of me pulled into the right lane, and that's when I realized it had pulled over because there were two cars heading toward us going west on Atwater. I honked, we all slowed down and stopped, then I pulled into the right lane and pulled up to the first car to inform it that this was a one-way street. The man driving it apologized, said he was from out of town and that he had just figured that out. This is not the first time that I have had this problem on Atwater, but it was the first time I actually thought I might have gotten hit. I strongly suggest adding some more obvious signage at both Jordan and Mitchell, which are the only two spots that I've ever noticed cars not heeding the existing traffic signs.
I believe that the traffic light at Atwater and Jordan should be on a delayed greenlight heading south on Jordan should turn green before the light going north turns green to allow traffic to flow freely before light turns red
when going east on 3rd st, after smith road you cant hardley turn in to edwards square, across from office lounge. traffic heading towards you from the east and traffic coming from behind you is dangerous. because theres no turn lane there. its a busy road, and is a real proble. i work in edwards square and we hear constant worries about it. it really needs to be adressed. thanks. if you have any questions you can call me at 812 -272-8721. thanks mr hiestand
Kathy is a school bus driver, who's route is on Kinser Pike. She has a special needs child that when she stopped the bus to help him off, 4 college age students on bicycles intentionally went right through her flashing stop sign and almost hit this child. In addition, as busy and as dangerous as this road is these bike riders put others in danger, including themselves. She wants MORE police to patrol this road to catch bike riders who do not stop when a bus has their flashing stop sign out.
