Another mailbox was hit on Allendale Dr. in Sherwood Oaks neighborhood near the corner of Allendale and Dunstan. This is the 2nd time this mailbox has been hit by a distracted driver in the last month. I live on the corner of Allendale and Dunstan and have witnessed countless drivers fly through the stop sign. This is also a city bus stop as well as my child's school bus stop. I am now in fear of letting my children use the sidewalk to walk to the little library, the park, and friend's homes. We shouldn't have to worry about this in our neighborhood. Many kids, adults, and pets use these sidewalks every day and shouldn't feel scared or worried that they are in danger. My neighbors dog was hit and killed last year at this 4 way stop. Let's do something before another pet or person gets hurt.

People do not use the turn lane as a turn lane. They instead go straight and then turn south bond 69 exit. This blocks people who are using the road properly and causes traffic Jams and close calls every time I drive this road.

To whom it may concern, I am a concerned citizen and tax payer that would like to bring up an issue and question pertaining to the road construction in Bloomington, IN. In particular, my query pertains to the construction drums/barrels that are located on State road 46/45 between North Walnut street and Ellettsville, IN. I would like to know why there has been construction drums/barrels spanning this location for 3-4 weeks now, at least, with no construction working at this location. I drive home every day around 2-3pm and have not once seen construction crew at this location working since the drums went up. There have been crew work on a light down by Kinser/46/45 the last couple of days, but if this is the case i don't see why construction barrels are running to Elletsville. These construction barrels are blocking off a whole lane of traffic causing uneeded delays in travel using one if not the busiest road in Bloomington. I understand there may be scheduling conflicts with getting road crew etc out but to block miles of road with no one working on the road for weeks/months is uncalled for and does nothing but hurt the people that travel the road which consequently are the same people that paid for it. I don't think its unreasonable for an explanation. I don't understand why you would inconvenience people and shut down half the road for miles when quiet literally no one is working on the road. It seems a better solution would be to keep the road free until you are ready to start working on it, then place the drums. I have started commuting to work on my bicycle and this prevalent and irresponsible action of drivers running red lights, especially when making left turns, just became increasingly dangerous now, more than ever. This happened to me this morning going north on the bypass crossing 3rd street. I had the green signal for more than a second yet the driver continued to make her left turn coming the opposite way, passing behind me! I witness this offense every day and is simply unacceptable.

When you are heading north on Rogers and approaching 1st Street, the stop sign is getting tough to see due to the trees along that stretch.

As you are heading east / southeast on Fountain Drive, at the intersection with N. Adams Street, when you look north on Adams to check for traffic, there is a lot of tree foliage impeding the view. It is very difficult to see traffic until you are pretty far into the Adams street intersection.

The towing company Tow Time at 2620 S. Rogers street. Tow trucks travel down Fairview to W. 7th several times a day racing their engines a driving very fast even when school is in session. The noise from these trucks is so loud that you can still hear them as the get to the down town area. Our neighborhood has complained to the owner and to individual drivers this past summer. The noise is a disruption and a nuisance.

Speed on West Allen Street is absurd. I have lived on street since 2017 and there are a lot of little children and pets along there. Have witnessed two pretty bad accidents there in last three months. Please considered either reducing speed or another method of curbing danger. Thank you!!
