There is a lot of sand that has collected on the corner of Grant and 10th. I would like to request a street sweeper to clean up the loose sand as it is causing issues for bike riders and motorcyclist. Most of the sand is right on the side of the Revolutionary Bike and Bean Building (Red Brick Building). Thank you.
on 17th street going towards the round about, before pawn shop. It caused damage to the right front of my car. I am waiting to hear exactly what the damage is that was done.
The construction at the corner of 11th and Walnut of the new apartment building has left this area of Walnut hazardous and capable in inflicting vehicle damage even when travelling slowing, especially the utility cut across Walnut which has not been filled in to be even with the road surface. This is the same type of problem that existed at 11th and Rogers but is horizontal across the street instead of diagonal across the intersection. The problem at 11th was fixed but this one needs attention ASAP to prevent damage to vehicles and subsequent claims to the city for that damage. There are also breaks and holes and bumps in the pavement at the crest and going down the other side towards 12th street and so on. I'm assuming this is temporary, but the road is really rough in this area.
At the intersection of W. 9th Street and N. Maple (NOT "709" as your locator insists) is a long crevice in the roadway, getting deeper by the day. It lies along the south side of the intersection. Many cars no longer stop at the stop sign; they just "run" over this trench so they won't get stuck. Although the area is not exactly a high-traffic one, it gets many children, families, pedestrians—and this trench is a dangerous situation.
there is a pothole in the alley between 714 and 718 W Kirkwood Avenue. People are now driving in my yard at 718 to avoid. I would appreciate if this can be fixed to minimize damage to my yard. Thank you!
Last year, the section of the sidewalk at Washington and Cottage Grove was replaced, but the workers left a trench in the road that collects water and breeds mosquitos. I couldn't help but notice when similar work was done this summer on 10th street and a layer of pavement was laid alongside the sidewalk to fill the trench there. Probably just an oversight but it'd be nice to get this job completed.
Pothole on Walnut St. is very deep and there were no signs. I turned onto Walnut from 11th street and there were no warnings for the pothole. My car bottomed out and cracked the front bumper and broke clips to where it is hanging. I parked to look at the pothole and walked up the street and took pictures, showing that there are no signs, and to show that this pothole is very deep, roughly a 2" drop. This incident occurred on Sunday August 23, 2015.

There is a 2 by 1 foot pothole that was intentionally dug in the alley that runs behind the property.So the pothole is between the property and the Hutton Honors College. Don't know if the city or party that dug it was looking for pipes or what, but the hole has been there for almost two weeks unfilled. There are 6 parking spots all in a row behind the property. The pothole is dug in such a way that it is directly behind a parking spot making the spot unusable. Also, when the pothole was initially dug there was already a car in the parking spot. The pothole was dug directly behind the tires of the car making it impossible to avoid when the car backed out. May want to instruct crews or whichever party was responsible not to do that.
