I am so grateful for the new traffic light at the intersection of Bloomfield rd and Rolling Ridge Way (exiting Twin Lakes Rec Center), but I cannot wait until you have paved the remaining part of the exit. There is a pretty nasty sharp ridge now that my tires don't like at all. Thanks!
There is a big ditch that has developed over the last year that needs to be fix in the front of my house(1008 East Thornton Drive) It is on the main street(Thornton Drive)Can you please have someone out to fix it soon? With winter close it will be extra dangerous to park there.I think it just needs to be filled in with gravel. There is not a lot of parking available there because of the ditch. On S High Street, adjacent to the back yard of 2102 E Wimbleton there is a footpath that has had some orange safety barriers on it for who knows how long. Are there any plans to fix that fence? It looks like someone ran into it ages ago.
The company installing fiber optic broadband destroyed part of the road in our cul-de-sac, busted a water pipe, and left the road in pretty bad shape. This is a flooding hazard and has damaged the aesthetics of the neighborhood as well.
On the north side of the newly-paved 7th Street, between Dunn and College Avenues, there are numerous locations where sewer and water drain covers are sinking into the ground...it is excessively bumpy, hazardous and only going to get worse unless addressed immediately.
why has thr center line not been painted on morton? the paving has been done for a long time
Can the city put some pressure on INDOT to open some lanes on 3rd and 2nd bridges? We have gridlock daily. Or maybe station cops to direct traffic? Or both? It's really out of hand and I rarely see anyone doing any work!
I live at the corner of W 3rd and Jackson Sts. There is a "traffic calming" device at the west end of the intersection. Another car just struct the curb with some damage today. Last Friday evening two cars struck the device. A week or so ago a Bloomington Police Car struct the curb and blew a tire. This is a common occurrence day and night, on a daily basis. Recently a crew repainted the curb yellow and glued on reflectors. The reflectors were soon scrubbed off by cars hitting the curbs. The curb needs a visible warning at eye-level that drivers can see. They obviously do not see the curb below their eye level. The new yellow paint curb has been hit so many times it is already black with tire rubber. Thanks.
A small square of asphalt (about 1 foot by 1 foot) was cut out of the road immediately in front of our driveway at 4021 E. Morningside Drive during a repair. It was filled with gravel but has not yet been repaved so are requesting that get filled in with asphalt/pave. Thank you.
The brick street on Park Avenue, in between 8th and 9th Streets, was torn up by the construction crews when they built the new Fiji house. They completed the work a while ago, but the street is still in awful shape. There are ruts everywhere, and a huge hole just south of 9th street. The bricks need to be replaced on this whole block.
