Peter and Lona want to report their neighbors' very loud dogs that are constantly outside. The address with the dogs is 3415 E. Olcott Blvd, house facing Dale Ct. Lona wants to be updated on any action taken, and her number is 267-626-6767. Peter's is 267-626-6726. They find the noise very disruptive when they try to work at home, and are very frustrated that no action has been taken.

Called to report a rat infestation in Kensington/Hyde Park. She has 22 rat holes in her yard alone. Someone from MoCo Public Health came out recently, after Ms. Nephew called that department, and found rat holes on 8 properties across 3 streets, minimally. I suggestd that Ms. Nephew contact both Animal Control and HAND because there's an ongoing issue with her neighbor leaving out birdfeed, debris and composting materials that are likely feeding the rats. Ms. Moore has contacted Animal Control many times re dog (which attacks people) running loose in her neighborhood. When she calls, dog is restrained for a couple months then is turned loose again. Ms. Moore plans to send letter to Mayor requesting that dog is restrained permanently.
Mr. Craig has called Animal Control and the Plan Department. His neighbor Guy Pacale Hardy has at least 4 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs fight each other and bark when people are sleeping. They get out and chase his cats. Mr. Hardy dumps the dog waste in a dry creek bed (and it stinks). He may want to start a kennel. Complainant wants something done about these problems and is willing to sign a complaint.

McDonald called BPD at 3:30 a.m. re barking dog & was told BPD does not respond to this type noise complaint and that he should confront owner of dog. McDonald felt that confronting owner at 3:30 a.m. would possibly create a dangerous situation and in addition, BPD should change policy to respond to this type noise situation same as if it was a loud stereo. Robert Jones lives at this address, he has 2 boxer dogs. One (brown) is vicious. Dogs bark from 7AM to 1AM. He works at Crane. They can't mow or weed along fence because dogs attack.
