Yesterday I visited the playground at Winslow Woods Park with my son. The playground space is in dire need of repair. The rubber flooring is patchy, worn, and disintegrating, creating trip hazards. The climbing jungle gym is rusty, with peeling paint and worn plastic. It does not seem structurally unstable, but could use at least some sanding and repainting to make it safer for young children. My experiences at other city parks and playgrounds have all been wonderful, so this seems out of character. I'd be interested to know if there is a barrier to repair/replacement of equipment at this park, if it is slated for removal, or if there is anything I can do as a resident to help advocate for its upkeep. We love to visit our parks and appreciate all the good work the Parks Department does for our community!

I'd like to address that there is severe mold issues on the pickleball and tennis courts at RCA park. The black mildew/mold issue has caused numerous instances with pickleball play and tennis play becoming a safety issue due to how slippery the surface get's. Many people have been slipping lately because the mold creates a very slippery surface. I'd like to suggest and request that someone comes to take a look at the issues near the back of the courts towards the woods. It would be greatly appreciated if the courts could be pressure washed off and the mold removed. Please feel free to contact me via my email provided for any further questions or dispositions. I'm worried about a mallard nest in the park - that the mom and eggs will survive with dogs etc. in the park. Just wanted to make you aware. It's located in the weedy area around the ditch that flows north to south, near a bird house.

I picnicked in Bryant Park this afternoon and noticed a woman collecting plastics. I approached her and it turns out she a conscientious homeowner who lives in the neighborhood. She apparently petitions consistently to have the parks put in recycling cans. I would like to add my voice to the hers and the many others who are surely requesting such a service. Please install recycling cans in the city parks. Thank you

This home is dumping water from teh sump into Bryan PArk and high levels. It is running to teh sidewalk and is freezing over causing a hazard

I took my 3 year old son to Bryan Park yesterday and a man had a dog with him that was poorly restrained (on a 25 foot cable). My son was running towards the toddler playground when the dog ran after him and knocked him down. The dog was on top of my child for several seconds and while the dog didn't harm my son, it was a very frightening experience for him. I don't want him to be afraid of dogs, and I've been trying to teach him to appreciate animal companionship. I don't know what the rules are for leashes in Bryan Park, but dogs need to be handled better, especially near or around the kids' playgrounds. I didn't get the man's name or information but I took a picture. He was walking on a bright orange tightrope and he had a white dog (young, probably a puppy - this is the one that chased my son) and a black dog.

Hi, There is a substantial amount of poison ivy along the path that cuts through the middle of Bryan Park, especially toward the east. It's right at dog/toddler height. Could this be eradicated? Thank you.
