While walking my dog in lower cascade park yesterday, I noticed parking lots were full and people were parking in grass area since most of the parking spaces are blocked off. It is unusually warm this year so it may be a good idea to open up the parking lots early this year.
why are there people walking with babies and small children on the cart paths at Cascades golf course. very dangerous for children, lawsuits for city, this is a pay to use facility not a city park. happens every day.
At a Babe Ruth game at Winslow @ a late game, CANNOT SEE because there are 20 field lights NOT working. REALLY?!?!? All the money that get spent in this town on beautification and you can't afford lights?!?!?
At Bryan Park right by the swimming pool, between the sidewalk and Woodlawn, there is a water pipe with the cover missing. The cover is sitting on the grass right beside the pipe opening but looks to be damaged. This is a fairly large hole in the ground and could be a danger if a child or pet accidentally stepped into it. Again, this is right near the fenced part of the pool and on the strip of grass that is between the sidewalk and Woodlawn.
Severe split in branch of tree overhanging park path and playground equipment. Looks to be a severe hazard! I couldn't upload a picture on my iPhone but I have a couple if someone could e-mail me with an address.
To whom it may concern, Over the past couple weeks I have been visiting the Miller-Showers Park located at 1500 N. College Ave. I like to pass the time listening to the waterfall or looking at the detailed sculptures. Unfortunately, it is hard to enjoy the view because the water is so slimy and murky. I am disappointed because it can look so much better if cleaned. Right now it just looks gross. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate if someone could please clean the water so there is no more green slime in the water. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. We would like to know which fields the ladies college teams play at as we are coming to see our daughter for a Mar.18-20 tournament.
Regarding Building and Trades Park: The steps leading from the upper level to the playing fields are in bad repair and need to be leveled. Even more important, older citizens such as my husband and Regarding Building and Trades Park: The steps leading from the upper part of the park to the playing field, dog walking area, etc., are in bad repair. In addition to problems with the steps themselves, a hand rail (simple pipe construction would be perfectly adequate) is needed, especially for little ones and most older park users.

The bridge at the playground at the Winslow Sports Plex needs one more bar added to either side. I have seen multiple kids fall or slide through the bottom gap. A week ago, my daughter fell and broke her arm through this same gap. One extra bar on either side would prevent many injuries.
