Resident comment at Farmers Market OOTM table-- will curbs along divided bike lane that begins at the corner of 3rd and Clarizz (By Bfoods E) be painted orange for greater visibility? Noted many cars actually enter the bike lane because they don't see the curbs.
Resident emailed property manager in regard to uneven sidewalk right next to her unit at 1250 N. Crescent rd. picture attached.
I know this is a rental community i do not know what else to do however. The landlord either doesn't realize it's their responsibility or isn't concerned about the limbs hanging over the sidewalks in the community. I'm physically disabled and legally blind have home health care services. To problems with getting caregivers I've been forced to be home days at a time. I like to get out and walk however. To help my arthritis. For overall well being. The rather hilly terrain here is difficult enough for me. The limb issues are posing more of a risk to me unfortunately. I have had several eye surgeries despite wearing sunglasses when outside the limbs hanging still pose a risk of injury to my eyes. I had a severe infection from unknown means in past months that posed risk of losing the eye. If the city can do anything to enforce the management tend to the limb issues it would be greatly appreciated.

I call to your attention a significant safety concern regarding the curbing located outside of 1700 N. Lincoln St. in Bloomington. This curbing is uneven with the sidewalk and other adjacent curbing; it is cracking and deteriorating in some areas. The curbing is in a high student foot traffic area used by several hundred students per day while Indiana University classes are in full session. I am requesting that the Bloomington Street Division replace the damaged curbing and install ADA-compliant curb ramps in the affected areas. Sidewalk was removed last year and replaced with gravel. It is now a trip hazard.
Rough section of sidewalk, between the indents in the asphalt and the raised cement square (utility?) patches. Was hard to navigate in wheelchair. This is southeast corner of S Clarriz Blvd and E 3rd St
