Want to actually promote affordable housing? Utilize the stock we have. Instantly create beds by eliminating artificial 3 person cap on houses that can easily and safely house more. Concerned about issues, solve them. Limit parking permits per house, enforce noise, enforce trash. But we have empty bedrooms that could easily have two people per bedroom in many instances. For no good reason. Go bold. A simple policy change will do more than your construction efforts have the last few years. Let's do this.

I haven't been to City Hall this month. Is the City flying the Pride flag for June?

I am under the impression that overnight camping is not allowed on public property. Why is the city allowing so many tents all throughout the city being set up overnight? What’s the point of having laws/regulations if we are not going to follow them? What other laws/regulations are we going to turn a blind eye to next?

Stop pursuing opposing goals. You now have a form to more vigorously enforce a stupid policy of artificially limiting occupancy without a clear connection to size, parking, etc. While you also want to increase density? So let's get this right ... You want to build expensive structures (which I don't oppose) when you could create that many beds by simply dropping the archaic anti-modern family rule of capping huge units at three people for no reason? Think this through. We have empty unutilized bedrooms in this town. You're being held hostage by special interests. We need creative and real solutions to affordability. They exist.

Please limit the number of days for fireworks more than currently allowed. Something like 3 seems ample for neighborhoods?

The mulching "pilot" confuses me. Several people I know participating have always mulched. So how is this a pilot? I'm happy to sign up to say that I mulch, as I do, but getting people who already mulch to say they like mulching and they were part of a pilot just isn't true? Amy I supposed to sign up? Or just folks who want to try mulching instead of bagging leaves for the first time?

I urge city officials to be proactive with covid-19 and the delta variant. Being proactive now will prevent long term closures and lost revenue of local businesses. CDC guidelines are requiring mask if you aren’t vaccinated fully, but it seems everybody is going maskless despite being vaccinated. Go back to having restrictions at restaurants, local businesses, and public events.
The city and its citizens have loosened up too much and are being too relaxed about this virus. The same mindset in other countries is causing havoc!

The city giving a "prize" for the mulching competition of an opportunity to buy a subscription service to a for profit company that proudly partners with anti LGBT chik fil a is messed up. Rethink your plan.

Changing a racist discriminatory street name to one that focuses on a denomination that just July 7, 2021, AGAIN voted against same sex unions is not the intersectional work I would expect from City Hall. https://www.hrc.org/resources/stances-of-faiths-on-lgbt-issues-african-methodist-episcopal-church

Since the American eugenics movement focused on physical and perceived mental disability/sexual orientation/social norms, is that represented in the renaming of Jordan Avenue?
