What is the maximum amount of time a dumpster can be parked on a city street? Building permit issued 10/15. Project shows no sign of progress. Dumpster sits there for months; eye sore; gateway to PROSPECT HILL and Paris Dunning House; debris on the grass right of way off sidewalk; snow not removed from said sidewalk. Ample space on their lot to park a dumpster long term.
Hi, This apartment building I have identified has an issue with trash. There is no container for the residents to put their trash in so they are just leaving it on the ground. And its blowing round the neighbourhood. Would be grateful if you could contact the building owner to resolve the issue. I have never had any issue with that apartment building before. Regards Ian
This HVAC unit associated with the City Showers Building offices is a nusiance. I clocked the sound levels at 88 decibels. I made a similar complaint about a month ago. The screeching noise just keeps coming back. I can hear it in my office even. Please find the funding to do a proper ungrade to this system. I cringe when I leave my office building.

Meters, Today is government holiday so I thought the meters would be off. However I found it wasn't the case. Some meters read "free parking" and some read the regular about and running times. I wanted to check to see if your website mention that the meters were running the webpage cited the holidays and dates the meters were off but today wasn't mentioned. I paid $3.00 just to be safe because I rather pay now than have a $50 tickets. However I feel that the meter should be constant and that you web page give a clear answer. I found a street sign, together with the large metal pole, in my front yard today. Not sure how it got there ... but it appears to be a Bloomington street sign. Can you come collect it? 415 E. 1st Street
Why is this being allowed? This is really disgusting. Advertising for having underage girls. It is sad that while we already have issues in the sexual assault realm that we are providing an environment for predators in the midst of the bar scene. Money seems to solve all issues.
I would like to ask the City of Bloomington to begin considering steps to put ordinances, rules, regulations on these Bird Scooters that have infiltrated our city. I have seen almost every person riding in violation of the safety rules the company urges. There have been two people on a scooter, all of them without helmets, and riding on sidewalks/all over campus. They are getting parked on campus bike racks, cluttering up side walks, and generally are unsafe and without any kind of ordinance in place, could only cause potential risk to both car drivers, pedestrians, cyclists etc. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45596449 There are known deaths on these modes of transportation. Indianapolis enacted an ordinance after unsafe crashes had occurred. Bloomington needs to be aware of the risk and make stations for these scooters with agreements on proper use.
The property at 411 E Glendora looks abandoned and in bad repair. It was on Zillow as rental property. There is an old car on site and it has windows broken out. There is also a discarded chair at curb. Can you please direct me to proper office to report the property. I drive by it everyday and it’s getting worse and definitely an eye sore. Thank you
