Hello My name is Annette Castillo. My family and I moved into Blue Ridge last July on N Blue Ridge Ct. I wanted to reach out to you concerning some issues and questions about the neighborhood. This morning there was a verbal argument with our next door neighbors. It escalated to the point of threats. This situation happened because the neighbor came outside to spray “weed killer” in the very section where my nephew was parked. He verbally told them to move. We have had issues with our neighbors since we moved in concerning property lines that they have claimed, and other issues of them not being very welcoming to our family. We have tried our best to avoid these encounters, but now we are at the point that for them to choose to physically harass our guests that visit our home is uncalled for. They have claimed to own the property where we have been reminded multiple times of not to mow and now not to walk on property. We took the initiative to go down to the city last August to verify their claims. The city printed out the property lines and stated that the property was a utility easement. We did not want any issues so we just went along with their claim. I was yelled at this afternoon and threatened to be “put down” by this neighbor today. He not only verbally harassed our family but then threatened to physically harm us. I am beyond words right now and was advised by the Bloomington Police Department to contact the neighborhood association. To ask if there was something we missed about parking on the street? Is that public parking? If not, what are the rules and regulation concerning the street parking? Also, is there anything in place with the HOA to file a complaint? Hello: This Honda is parked nearly every evening, as well as over the weekend, on the 300 block of S Jackson. Photo attached Not sure where the person goes when they leave the car here, but they inevitably leave bags of garbage behind. This has been going on for about 6 weeks now and we are sick of cleaning up large amounts of trash. Perhaps one of the Neighborhood Resource Officers could come by and talk with her one evening? There is a downed tree ( a very large limb from a tree) and what appears to be an abandoned car at the deadend of Thornton and Troy Ct. The car has been there much longer than the downed tree limb. I am unsure if the tree is from private property or city owned property but has been down since the bad storm from the end of June....there is also a large section of fence that is down. If this is private property, I am unsure how to get ahold of the owners.

For multiple months there has been an eye-searingly bright yellow box truck with phallic graffiti parked at this address. Are commercial vehicles allowed to park for extended periods of time in residential neighborhoods?

Late model car parked in yellow zone on Maple at W 7th. Makes it impossible for two cars to go through at once. Also limits visibility for cars going North on Maple. This is also a place where a school bus turns every day. Car parks here all the time. Behind this car is a motorcycle under a tarp that has been parked for at least six months.

N Forrest Ave between E Cottage Grove Ave and E 11th. Multiple cars parked here on a daily basis where it says no parking. This is supposed to be a two lane road, but is not safely wide enough for traffic going both directions with cars parked here, and there is no where to move out of the way if two cars are traveling opposite directions on this road, causing a traffic hazard.

You have at least 1 or maybe 2 cars parked on the yellow curb. On 14th st between college and woodburn ave. Not really urgent except for the fact it shouldn't be there. Seems to be a problem a lot. Thanks

I am writing about the fact that there seem to be some cars that just use the 4th street garage as a storage place for their cars. The city suffers from not enough free parking downtown and the 4th street garage seems to be the place for people to store their trucks/automobiles for covered parking. I know for a fact that there is a very large white truck on the first floor of the garage that has just been sitting there for several days and hasn't moved. I don't even know if the truck has a monthly permit, but with free parking so scarce downtown, it would be nice if people would not be able to store their cars in that garage. I have poor Ivy Tech students who can't find any free parking during class time at the Waldron Arts Center and are pretty much forced to pay and extra $100 a semester just for street parking. I would appreciate somebody getting back with me on this matter. Thanks. Ingrid Faber

Van at 4011 e morningsude drived has remained untagged and stationary for months now in our neighborhood just sitting in drive of unoccupied house. Crime risk. Please address.
