There is a homeless camp behind our subdivision, Shady Acres at 708 S.Cory Lane. They have been walking through here to access the main roads. This is a small subdivision with probably 60% widow and/or single elderly women. We are requesting help in getting this camp removed. Thank you. Susan Scales 812.219.5738
Stephen was asking about the city's response to Malibou house as he is a resident of the street on which one of their houses is located and expressed that he is already dealing with the effects of slummy properties, and this is making it much more difficult to deal with. He complained about noise, traffic, and the overall parking nightmare that has become of his culdesac.

As previously reported on June 10, 2025, the South side of Sudbury, between Arbor Ridge Way and the last drive east of Rolling Ridge is not being maintained by the Millennium Apartments between the Conservancy and the sidewalk. After I entered ticket # 203288, some entity did come by and cut down some of the weeds with a long handle type device reaching out from a truck. It really did a poor job of clearing the area and it is already grown up again. Also, the north side of Sudbury, which belongs to Developers, is also a mess and not being maintained or mowed. Several neighbors have complained and so that is why I am entering a ticket again.

The backdoor is not locking now (I have tried) and inside it's a mess with evidence of trespassers using the house for various activities. BPD has visited the house three times in the past 60 days due to the back door standing open. With the weather and trespassing occurring at the I address, you need to get the owner's attention to lock it up and also care for it in a consistent manner. It has evidence of being abandoned. Also evident are the two waste and recycle toters at the front door - never touched by the homeowner. An advertisement that the house is vacant. Has BPD contacted you for enforcement help? Lower door wide open, upper door open but storm door closed. Officers (six) arrived and cleared the house, Windows are still unlocked and storm windows may be opened as they are not closed in place on nearly all windows. Please make contact with the owner and request that they close all windows and check the two doors so they may be closed and locked. I have mentioned to you in the past, on the lower door, stone wall has fallen and mud prevents storm door to close. This needs attention. Please be more aggressive in your home owner contact. Monitoring this house and follow up on securing the house is now using Police time and resources. Plus my time and others neighbors concern that the house is being entered by homeless and others trespassers. It appears a mess inside and needs attention. If you cannot get results on this homeowner's negligence, see history back to 2004 where the city has sited issues, I will follow up with the Mayor and City legal. This needs to be solved to hold the homeowner accountable for action before something bad happens; house fire, frozen water pipes, trespassers cause issues.
