The speed bumps here are massive and are destroying my suspension. The speed limit is 25MPH in my neighborhood but I can't go more than 10MPH without my car bottoming out on the speed bumps or hitting my head on my car ceiling. I'm all for speed bumps enforcing a reasonable speed limit but having two gigantic speed bumps every block in my entire neighborhood is kind of silly. I have to drive over dozens of these a week when going to work and have now had to replace my struts ($900) and my shocks/shock absorbers are next ($800). I have a Toyota Camry, which is a pretty common and rather robust car generally speaking so I doubt my story is a unique one. Is it possible to lower the speed bumps? Thank you.

I submitted Case #180206 on June 5, but Jo Strong mistakenly closed it on June 9, saying "no sidewalk at this location. I gave the location of the owner of the sidewalk, but the sidewalk is on the south side of their property, while their driveway is on the north side. The overgrown sidewalk is on Fields Drive. Jo Strong also said, "Is address correct?", but there was no way for me to respond. Please reopen this case. I attached a photo (although it isn't showing or acknowledged), but the situation has grown worse since I took this photo.

I live down the street from a construction site which is consistently incredibly noisy very early in the morning. I have reported this construction site for noise violations before, and the problem was, for a time, resolved. However, the problem has started again as they are once again beginning work early in the morning (around 5 a.m.) which, I am aware, is well before the time they are supposed to start even staging for their operations. I am an IU grad student and I need to be able to rest. I am aware that my neighborhood is in a rather defunct part of town, but people still live here and need to be able to function as normal. City Arborist told me to contact HAND for tree code violations. There are at least 1/2 dozen dead trees at entrance to The Arbors Apartments on E. Moores Pike. Several large limbs have fallen recently, causing hazard to people, dogs and cars. Manager is aware of problem & has said he plans to remove them, but weeks have passed & no action has been taken. I walk my dog on the path & road where these trees are & it frightens me to walk by them, especially on a windy day.

The fence that was installed along the border of a vacated alley is excessively tall. Can someone come out to this location to assess the height of the fence and the shed that is even taller that was built right on the property line. This fence blocks light and is very tall from my side of the property. I have other photos of this fence from different angles, but can't upload them here due to the limit of one photo upload.

The East-West alley in this location is not accessible by neighbors. This alley has not been vacated, but is blocked on both sides by gates installed by the property owner at 910 N Madison. The gate on the east side is topped with barbed wire and makes the gate on the back of my property that used to be accessible to the alley, no longer usable. These gates also block any pedestrian traffic from walking from the Habitat neighborhood to Madison Street or connecting to the alley in the Maple Heights Neighborhood directly on the other side of Madison. The blocking of this un-vacated alley with locks, gates, and barbed wire makes it inaccessible and gives the impression that it is solely for the use as a driveway for the property owner at 910 N Madison Street. Alleys are essential connectors in traditional neighborhoods like this one for pedestrians, wildlife, as well as for neighbors to access the rear of their property. I would like to be able to access the rear of my property through the installed gate once again. I have photos that show the area I am referring to, but am not able to upload them due to the limit of one photo upload. This alley would also be convenient to many people as a connector for walking to the western side of Maple Heights Neighborhood, Tri-North Middle School, or the public Mills Pool, but it is instead blocked for public use. I would like to request that someone come out to view this site and the fences for compliance with the alley being not vacated and for the use of barbed wire.
