Help with owner of mobile home refuses to supply form 7878 tax form to buyer ( me ). For purchase of mobile home. This is a class c mistomener for sale of form 7878 for research of liens, back taxes. That he is to supply and apply for. He is asking me for money exchange. Before title is gave to me. Then me to get tax form 7878 myself. Can you help ? Or direct me to who unforced this ? I know it's a 500 fine or 1 year jail to owner for not applying to buyer. Thanks

Tall metal tower behind house (radio tower?) appears to be old, and the bottom of the tower is overgrown with vegetation. It's an eyesore at best and probably a hazard.

Does this reference case #155817? Very disgruntled resident of condo community bordering Clarizz Blvd just called referring back to what I assume is case #155817. He said he called Streets Dept two days ago to report that the east side of Clarizz hadn't been mowed for weeks. He wanted to report to the mayor the "very rough job that can barely be considered mowing -- it still looks like a hay field. This is NOT Bloomington. I expect this will be taken care of and if not appropriately dealt with then I will go to the H-T." Could the mowing job be checked, please? Thanks for your help.

Anonymous caller reported that a business at the intersection of 2nd and Adams St. has recently mowed and blown all the clippings into the street. He believes it was the gas station and asked if there's an ordinance against this?

I own a home that is currently rented at 852 S Romans Way, (Gentry Honours). Today I noticed a hole in the front yard between the sidewalk and curb area. The hole is about 8 inches around, but there is a cavern below it that is about 1.5 cu ft. Thank you!!

Duke replaced the pole in front of our house (1900 E, Hunter Ave.) last year by cutting the old pole in half and installing a new pole with their wires on the top of the new one. They left the old pole, which was falling over, tied to the new pole with ropes. Cable and telephone are still connected to the old pole. It is still falling over, and if the ropes break it may come down. Who do I contact to remedy this situation? Thanks, Glenn Gero

Wanting to make you aware of an incident involving my daughter, yesterday afternoon. We live a fair distance away, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She was contacted by a company representative of the Xlibris Self Publishing Company. The phone number that called her was 317-489-3887. (http://www.xlibris.com/) I googled this number as I was immediately suspicious and found they are not operating entirely above board. Soliciting business from minors without parental authorization, discussing trips to Europe and Asia, photo shoots for book covers....tends to ring in all shades of child luring. Discussing money and payment matters with children. I have called them and requested they remove my daughters number from their records (I was informed they didn't have it, however I do not believe them). I also informed them that if she receives any additional calls from their organization, I would be contacting the police in their city. I've decided to do this anyway because a little research on the internet indicates to me this is a regular occurrence. Very concerning. I have not determined yet how my daughter's phone number was provided to them, though my assumption is that it was through purely an innocent act of a child who knew no better.....even though she's well educated on the pitfalls of the internet. Perhaps the excitement of the possibilities overruled her common sense. Regardless, I felt it necessary to report it to someone in the area. Not much I can do from 12 hours away.
