Leaves illegally dumped in city property. Sheridan Woods. This happens every year and I don’t know who is doing it the nearest neighbors claim they use lawn services to haul away their leaves.

Does the city test Jackson Creek for giardia. Many people including small children play in the creek. My dog drank water from the creek and now has giardia. If it isn't tested it should be, it is a risk for children.

Sign attached to a road sign on E. Morningside Drive just off E. Third Street. "Hydrant Flushing This Area". I assume this might be related to the Greenway construction as a hydrant was moved I believe. No notification to any neighbors regarding hydrant flushing. This sign has been in place now FIVE weeks and without neighbor notification, it has lost all effectiveness. Has Utilities forgotten the sign was placed? Please let me know so I may inform the Park Ridge Neighborhood (Association) of the sign status? Thanks -

This pond scum was not present from 2019 until this year. Regency multi family purchased the land about 2 years ago. Concerned about lawn chemicals and fertilizers in this retention pond which feeds into creek along creek’s edge drive. A Beaver lives here in the past and a rare Duck. On Kingston Drive, across from the Mall entrance where the Bloomington Transit bus stop is, and also across from the Target parking lot (side of the building), near the pedestrian crossing from the Current parking garage to the Target parking lot, there are big stones that have fallen into the road, coming from the slanted side at the foot of the parking garage. It is right at the bend of the road, so, very hard for motorists to see. And what if one comes tumbling down while a car or cyclist is just passing there? There should be a fence to keep the boulders inside or a heavy net over them, in my opinion.

I'm trying to find out who to contact pertaining to runoff from a new construction site into the nearby neighborhood waterway on the west side of Bloomington.
My concern is that the construction barrier broke during the big storm in July, causing muddy clayish water to spill out into the road and backup the drains. That water has now made its way into the creek that flows thru Orchard Glen Co-op and meets up with the one along the Karst Farm Greenway. Due to the amount of mud, i believe someone needs to inspect it to make sure it's not a threat to the habitat or karst system there.

There is an extremely bright blinking light on top of the building that bothers my eyes when I try to sleep every night. I live in the apartment complex next door. They will not turn it off. I am losing sleep over this. If it is for "safety" reasons, at least keep the light on but without the blinking. There is another bright light on the building too that does not blink, so I don't understand why it is necessary for this one to blink. The blinking of it is what bothers my eyes. There is also a jumbo screen that is super bright that should be turned off when the rooftop closes, yet they keep that on all night too. The jumbo screen isn't the main issue though, it's the bright blinking light. Please please if you can make the blinking stop I would appreciate it.

Impervious surfaces covering too much of the property! There are terrible problems
with run off due to paving, and this property is adding significantly to the problem.

They are covering the entire yard with gravel. Is this not against the planning and zoning codes? Don’t they have to have grass or plants?

there's a dam in the creek along the back of Then Fields apartments built to feed their fish ponds. It's in a very bad state of disrepair and could fail any day. It's just upstream of a bridge on E.moores that is also in a bad state, if the dam were to fail it could cause the bridge to fail too. Not to mention damage to properties along the same creek, and ecological damage as the ponds would drain. See attached map.
