Re: Intersection of Hoosier St and Cherry Street. Citizen says chunks of pavement have washed away and street needs to be repaired. Said County would never take care of this area and hopes the City will do better now that it has been annexed. Please respond to Julio in PW.
After the snow storm two weeks ago, the street in front of my house was cleared, but not the dead end part of Brookside Drive that is beside my house. I e-mailed Joe Van Deventer, Director of Street Operations, to ask if that was an error or a new policy. I received no reply. I need to know the answer, so that I can attempt to reverse the policy if the policy for clearing snow from dead end streets has changed. As you can see in the satellite photo, I was forced to hand shovel 40 yards of Brookside Dr. to "get out" even 2-3 days after the snow storm.
MS. STONER STATED THAT THERE APPEARS TO BE A SINKHOLE IN HER BACKYARD. SHE LIVES IN WALNUT CREEK SUBDIVISION. SHE IS RECEIVING THE WATER RUNOFF FROM HER NEIGHBORS THAT SEEMS TO PULL IN HER BACKYARD.
Caller complained that the downspouts on house next door were directing water on to her property, and that the builder/owner had left construction debris in the front yard.
