Was walking to the parking garage after class and when I came into the stairwell two homeless people were at the bottom of the steps. I went to retrieve my car at the 4th street parking garage last night after attending an event at the Waldron. When I got off the elevator on the 2nd floor I was approached by some disheveled guy who started cussing at me in an aggressive manner. I just turned away and went to my car. He kept cussing and got on the elevator.
Transient man screaming and yelling outside City Hall first thing this morning (around 7AM timeframe). Individual was screaming about pointing guns at him and repeatedly talking to himself. Staff feel uncomfortable entering the building this early in the AM without other security measures in place. The individual then began approaching cars as more staff pulled up for the day to park and come inside City Hall. Again, it is uncomfortable as an individual to leave vehicle and walk alone with someone being unstable and yelling at you. Is there someone on site beginning around 7AM at all?
