Opposed to TCI dropping WGN. Will look into purchasing antenna or satellite dish.
Resident is very angry that TCI is dropping WGN in favor of a Animal Channel. Resident states she hated that they dropped VH-1 and the Comedy channel. If TCI has to drop channels, why not drop the religious channels. Whe TCI drops WGN, resident will no longer be able to watch Chicago Sports.

Resiednt states he feels that TCI taking away WGN in favor of the Animal planet is absolutely wrong. TCI is not interested in providing educational programing, they are only interested in their bottom line. Resident states this is nothing more than greed for TCI stock holders. TCI increases their rates all the time and is unconcerned about their customers.
Resident states that the decision to drop WGN is ridiculous. TCI is cramming this down our throat and something must be done! Channel 9, WGN, has alot of good things to offer, including the Cubs games. If TCI must drop stations, why not drop the channels that are almost duplicates. There are 2 religious channels and several news channels. Resident will be attending this evenings meeting.

Mr Myers has contacted TCI concerning his complaint. He was told to write a letter to the corporate office, it was their decision. Mr Myers asked if they were keeping track of the local complaints. TCI's reply was no. Mr. Myers suggested that the Telecom. Council contact Ameritch about getting them in here to provide cable service.
Ms Ford states that she is tired of TCI dropping the more popular channels in favor for stations that will benefit TCI's bottom line.
Subscriber received notice that he had to fill out to prevent disclosure of his name & address by TCI for mailing lists. Objects to this - feels burden should not be on him to keep his name from being added to mailing lists. Feels TCI should have to obtain his permission.
