Meter A01 accepts some change without adding appropriate time to the meter. Normally I wouldn't care, but it ate a quarter of the funds entered shorting me 15 minutes which in turn landed me a parking ticket, so now I'm paying $20 for 10 minutes of time.
Btw, you are apparently stealing Google Maps functionality (see screen capture showing "developer mode")

All the parking meters on the west side of Madison are completely defaced - they have black ink covering the display so that you cannot tell if/how much you have paid, and the green tag saying what zone for the mobile app has been ripped off.
Is it ok to park there? Will you get a ticket even if you can't use the meter correctly?

There are quite a few meters in the downtown area that do not have the green sticker with the parking area, and therefore cannot be paid for using the Parkmobile App. I usually do not have change, and don't like to use my credit card in the meters. Can you do an inventory of this issue and replace the stickers?

The parking meter we used this morning accepted my first quarter, but the second one got stuck in the coin slot. It is still stuck there. Someone should check the meter and remove the coin. The meter is on Kirkwood west of Walnut on the north side of the square. Here is the meter information:
Parking zone: 76118
Meter: 5THW117-A

Noticed vehicle parked in front of my car which had the last metered spot around 10-11 am after I arrived for work and it was still there when I left after 4, it was also very close to mine which left very little room to get out as well.

I parked at a parking meter on 6th street at the north end of the justice building just after 1:00 p.m. today, 5/22/18. I did not have any coins so I attempted to pay with my debit card. I inserted my debit card three separate times and was never able to use it to pay; the screen giving me option to increase time never appeared and instead I was only getting the screen showing rates. My maroon Suzuki Vitara is still parked in this spot. I wanted to send this message to report a non-functional meter and to cover myself in the event I find a ticket on my car later today when I leave the justice building.

The parking meters do not allow you to pay before they turn on. I had a meeting in the morning, and I did not want to be late just to pay the meter. The meters should allow you to pre-pay in the time before they turn on. Otherwise, people who have meetings will have to either be late to their meeting or face a parking ticket as I did. This system is ridiculous! Coins were better! You could at least pay the meter at any time with coins!

I started using the parking app about 3 months ago and in those 3 months I have gotten two parking tickets. They are were both dismissed but that is not the point. It takes time to appeal the ticket and it's just a nuisance. I thought that the parking enforcement officer is required to check that an app is not being used and not just base it on the light flashing red. It makes it not worth it to use the app if every 1 time out of 20 I park I get a ticket. I thought it was something you should know so the issue can be looked into.

I parked downtown this past weekend to dine out with a good friend - the meter would not take my card at first, then it did, but wouldn't let me remove it (I though I'd have to leave it!). My friend did manage to wrestle it out of the meter, but we had to find coins to pay the meter - THEN - it only registered about half of the coins we inserted, so we lost $ parking so that we might support our local restaurants. Meter #76118 on the south side of the courthouse in front of Fountain Square. I suspect this is not the only defective meter? Might be time for tuneups?
