at 9:45 a.m. 4/29 I tried to use the parking meter app, which i have used many times) on 76118 (i was at "b"). the app said no such parking place. i tried three times making sure i was getting the number right. could have been a system-wide failure rather than this meter. however, while I'm at it, i resorted to analog quarter method. I put two in a glanced down to see I only had 15 min. I put some more in and they registered properly. might want to have someone put a bunch of quarters in to see if this was just a fluke or a problem with this meter. p.s. i actually like the meter system. previously there just was no option to park on the street downtown as all slot always full. now one at least has that option. i think with the free hours in the garages/lot and their proximity, most of the time that should work for most people.
There is an abandoned car at the intersection of W 4th St and Maple. It is a red 4-door Volkswagen with a rack on top and out of state plates. It has at least 1 flat tire and has been there for at least 3 weeks. Thank you!

Driving home on I-69, I foolishly decided to stop in Bloomington for s bite to eat. I parked on Kirkwood where another car was parked. I parked at a meter that was not posted "No Parking". I went into a pizza place, ordered, and came back to my car withing 5 mins. I was sitting in the car when a policeman approached. He was very rude, informing me it was a No Parking Zone. It appears I did not see the sign, as it was on the ground, and I should have been looking on the ground before parking. I made it very clear that I was just there for a moment, but still got a ticket. A ticket that had to be paid within a week or it doubled. That's quite a racket you have going there. I learned a very valuable lesson though. Bloomington is not a welcoming town for visitors who don't know the rules. I will not be stopping in Bloomington on any future trips on I-69.
Recently I have had numerous experiences in which the parking meter took my coins but did not apply time. Today it was parking meter 76130 on 6th st. I put $1.05 in quarters and dimes. I got 31 minutes on the meter. This has happened at meters near the library and on the square. I am not concerned so much about the amount of money I am putting in the meter but that I may run out of time because I don't have enough change even though I have filled the meter. When are the meters maintained? how does one complain in the moment?
I just got a tickets because you claimed that I parked at Lot 5 without permit. However, according to the free parking place showed on your website, the Lot 5 is free for first three hours (in the metered non-reserved spaces only Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm). I'm pretty sure I didn't park at reserved place. Since this type of ticket cannot appeal, I've paid the ticket, but I just want to and need to know the reason why I've got this ticket.
Expired plates looking abandoned. 600 w. Howe.

HEllo, On Wednesday I ued the parking space in front of Anatolia REstaurant in downtown. When I parked my car on 5.45 pm, I entered around 2 hours of parking and paid with my credit card. My parking should end on 8.15 pm. However I spent more time than I expected in Anatolia so I stayed in the parking space extra 45 mins. How can I pay for this extra 45 mins for parking? Thanks
