This green trailblazer has been parked on Walnut in between Kiwkwood and 4th street next to fountain square mall for almost a month. It needs to be towed. My office is in the mall and we’ve watched ticket after ticket get placed on the vehicle, which is eventually destroyed by the elements. People have even written on the window to tow the car.
People park on both sides of W. Howe St. and it causes many issues with traffic turning onto the street from both S. rogers st and S. Madison St. Please consider fixing this before there are more accidents.
Parkmobile app popped up and offered me a gift card. This is not acceptible.
Crescent Union Apts and Stryker Towing my vehicle was parked in visitors with proper tags ect...parked 3am by 11am it was gone. Stryker stated the leasing office requested it towed claimed flat tire.. it wasnt flat when I parked it there. The lot was riddled with broken glass. They also claim two vehicles same as mine both towed within 48 hrs timeframe...so many people whom already face financial hardship are getting their transportation taken and unable to pay fees. After two days it was already $265... that day I called was told they'd get back with me no one was there at lot to release my vehicle. It's now $1350 I'm medically frail and now stranded here homeless no way to get back to my hometown. Please help? The term predatory towing means not just enforcement of parking regulations, but it’s going above that and seeking people who are violating rules just so they can tow and charge them
I'm a former student and was new to the APP download style for parking as it has been a debit/credit system before I believe and while this was someone frustrating to not have that option as well...On one of the meters near Mailubu grill across from the court house on the other side of the parking lots directly infront of the courthouse I tried to park there uncessfully after getting out and following a sticker on the meter that said scan QR code to pay. I was assuming it was for parking app and just doing it the mobile website version instead of the app. I followed the website may have been a pop up but didn't seem like it and started to put in info. Right about the exact same time to a minute or less I got a automatic rejection notice from my bank alerting me to possible fraud or something of that nature so I did not accept it. They blocked it for $40 thankfully. I think there might a a scamphishing expedition where people are putting stickers on the meters possibly. I ultimately didn't park there after my bank alerted me to the $40 charge and called my bank to cancel the card just in case. It wasn't until I tried at another location and just typed in the name of the meter in google play and downloaded the app from there that I saw how straight forward the parking system is as it allows you to see all nearby parking directions. Fortunatley my bank alerted me to this potential phishing or whatever you call it. There was a link to a website that did didn't look like a real website. Just wanted to alert the city of this in case more people have had this problem. Also I later received a email from
I paid for several hours on a meter and got a ticket before the time was even up! I appealed it and only got a letter saying my appeal was denied -- no reason. This is so unjust and I have no recourse but it makes me want to avoid ever visiting Bloomington again! This is fraud on your part, giving me a ticket for a meter that hadn't run out yet!
