So what is the difference in red vs yellow curb paint? Is red paint even in the code? I never see any of the parking rules enforced at the TLRC, people park of the grass and places they shouldn’t. Bryan Park Pool (and possibly Mills Pool) really needs an accessible family changing room. My 21-year old son with developmental disabilities needs help to change in or out of his bathing suit at the pool. My only options is to check that the women's room is clear and help him change there. The only available spot with any privacy is the shower stall with a curtain. (Which fortunately has grab bars!) Please consider how to make the pool changing area more accessible for families with adult children who require assistance. Thank you.

It’s a beautiful, sunny June day. Several individuals and about 30 campers with 4 counselors are eagerly awaiting the Bryan Park pool to open at 11 am. 11:05 am and the door is still shut, “POOL CLOSED.” Someone calls the pool hotline. Pool is closed till NOON, because it is 63 degrees out. The cooler morning temp did not discourage 35 people at 11 am - and also then had to reschedule their morning plans because of the unexpected delayed opening. Was this delayed closure truly necessary??

Is Indiana Red Basketball affiliated with the City? The Coach, Rob Norris holds practices at the Twin Lakes complex. He charged $700 per player for travel basketball. Because of Covid-19, we only had two practices and no tournaments. He has refused to give a pro-rated refund. He is asking to apply the monies toward next year, or give a donation to Indiana Red. This seems dishonest to me!
The idea that Bloomington does not allow basketball or turf rentals at the TLRC is preposterous at this point in the pandemic. The positive case numbers have continued to drop, Monroe County has the lowest positive rate in the entire state, and TLRC has already shown they can operate safely. There is no reason at this point to continually take away opportunities from youth sports in Bloomington. It is long overdue that someone like John Turnbull is held accountable to create opportunities for youth sports instead of continually take them away and claim that "participation numbers are down" that is a direct reflection of the lack of initiative in his department and it starts at the top.
Portable toilets not usable today because toilets were filled with used needles. Empty liquor bottles also in toilets.
