Renwick Trail

The Renwick Trail is very overgrown, limiting it to nearly half of its width in some sections. Weeds, bushes and trees need to be cut back to allow for safe use of the trail.

Two men got out of two black trucks parked at the entrance of the bike park(where it branches off of Weiner Road. They were in full camo and equipped with hunting equipment entering the Bike park property. Is there anything that can be done to ensure the safety of Bike park goers? Just seems a little unethical and dangerous for them to be hunting on the park land.

There is a light on a utility pole at the dead-end of S. College Ave. This dead-end location is used as access to the B-Line trail. Unfortunately, there have been car break-ins along this street. I own the home at 1605 S. College Ave. and we've had 2 car break-ins at this location. It appears that the thief is using the access to the trail as a dark and quick get-away. This light needs repaired to prevent crime in this area.

Just a question. There are three structures on the old goat farm by the Jackson Creek Trail. They're maybe 10-12 feet tall and 2 feet square. Can you tell me what they are? Are they some kind of bird nesting sites? Thanks for any help. -a curious walker

Hello, I'm interested in filling out an adopt-a-trail application on behalf of students I work with at the College Internship Program Bloomington, but the adopt-a-trail application form wouldn't load! Please advise.

Visiting from erie,pa. Parents live here & I will relocate here after retirement. Enjoy walking trails. So much. Have encountered horses x2 on clear creek trail between that rd. Not hard 2 ascertain from where the horses come from. Who is liable if accident/incident occurs? Rules of trails clearly posted. My 10lb lhasa apso is harnessed securley on lead but was very spooked by horses & horses were not happy either by their obvious reactions. My little dog & I had no where 2 go but off in brush @ side of trail. Again, who is liable if someone gets hurts????It will happen. Horses & wrong dog, place & time someone is gonna b hurt.

It would be great if you would add an additional garbage can towards the south end of the B-Line trail (near Country Club Rd), you have to walk/bike/run nearly a mile before coming to a garbage can.

Dear Friends, I am writing to report a dog attach incident this morning about 9:05 Am on the North Shore Trail in the Griffey Lake Nature Preserve. I was walking on the trail and was approached by two unleashed dogs. The owner arrived and said the dogs were unleashed because he didn't think there were other people on the trail. One of the dogs, which looked German Shepherd like, approached me from the side and bit my right calf. The bite broke the skin. He said he was sorry and walked on. I didn't get his name, because I wanted to leave the scene because I was concerned about being bitten again. There was a single car parked on the trail head, a Pontiac Grand Am GT with an Indiana License plate 719CA2. I believe, but am not certain, that this was the dog owner's vehicle. I looked but didn't find any park personnel after the incident. My phone number is 812 345 7429 if I can provide any additional information. Sincerely, Brian O'Donnell 602 South Rose Avenue Bloomington, IN 47401

Parks and recreation, I wanted to know if there is legal right-of-way for pedestrians at the south end or the rail trail where it stops at west dillman rd. The property owners have placed fencing and no trespassing signs. I simply would like clarification if easement rights apply so that I may continue to access the rail trail beyond Dillman rd. Have the property owners gained true rights by forfeit of the rail line due to disuse?
