Please trim the branches that overhang the short bike path that runs between South Rogers Street and South Madison Street on what would have been West Ralston Street (If it were a street and not a bike path). Thank you.
This mileage sign for walkers heading northwest on the Clear Creek Trail is totally unreadable. It is across from the hopscotch court on the little learning trail just south of That Road. Cheap to replace! I think it is meant to mark 0.5 mile point from the roundabout where CCT intersects with the Bloomington Rail Trail. We walkers like to know how far we’ve traveled! FYI the pavers under several of the benches on the trail are loose and could also use some work.
This mileage sign at top for people walking northwest on Clear Creek Trail is nearly unreadable and incorrect. Needs replacement. It barely says 1 mile from Tapp Road roundabout. It is actually 1 mile from the CCT/Bloomington Rail Trail intersection roundabout. The bottom sign is pretty worn as well.
There is a tree down across the trail from a recent storm. Approximate location shown on the attachment.
Grimshaw Trail: rain washed sewer cover off. danger to cyclists.
https://bsquarebulletin.com/2021/08/18/friday-aug-20-deadline-posted-b-line-bridge-encampment-removal-to-be-guided-by-new-general-police-order/ ... No clock time is given for the deadline. ... A highlight of the document is a new general police order, dated Aug. 13, 2021, with the title “Police Interaction with Homeless Encampments.” ... The city council’s ordinance would have required that personal belongings be stored for 60 days. ... The notices posted on Tuesday note that “Camping is not allowed on public property.” ... Dana Jones, director of Wheeler Mission Ministries, pointed out that for people to be camping out is not something unique to Wheeler Mission’s location. ...
On the outer loop of the trail (at the bottom of the hill if you enter left where the pavillion is) there's a tent that I believe someone is living in. Was hoping to guide this individual to the Homelessness Resources department if possible. Thanks
I previously reported a developing homeless encampment along the Clear Creek Trail just south of Gordon Pike along the Clear Creek under #188290, but the response said it was on private property. According to the county GIS, it is public property owned by the City. Thus, I think it should be addressed.
There is another homeless encampment going up right along the Clear Creek Trail just south of it's intersection with Gordon. I walk this alot with my young kids and play basketball in the Unitarians parking lot right there, and it is trashy and unsafe. It needs to be removed.
