Many of the trees have limbs that are quite low, even for a 6-foot tall person. Please trim the trees
Erosion control needed. Please make the Winslow trails cement or asphalt. Thanks.
Trails in the Winslow area are only meant for 1 person and the vegetation is overgrown. Please allow for 2 people to walk along together in comfort.
Trail with roots. Please remove or build a small bridge over them. Thanks.
Trail between the Winslow park & recreation and High Street. Poses hazards to people who are physically handicapped and blind.
There is a VERY large and odd bulge in the metal framework of the B-line Trail's Grimes Street bridge. It is visible on the bridge, on the right hand side (east side), as one passes northward. Seems to be a significant structural defect.
B-line trail LED lamps #'s 117, 133, and 135 are not working.
Customer called in to Parks and Recreation office complaining about shrubbery on the B-Line trail blocking the yellow flashing light warning drivers of bikers. He did not want to write in a complaint, insisted I do it, because he is a senior and he wanted to report the issue via his landline.
My partner and I enjoy the trails at Winslow Park. However, we both are very tall (6 feet), and we always have to duck due to tree limbs. We also have noticed that the paths are not wide for people to pass, and the vegetation along the path closest to South Highland Avenue is severely overgrown and needs to be cut back. In addition, most of the paths are covered in small stones/pebbles, and are creating canyons in the trail when it rains. Is it possible to completely make the trails to asphalt or concrete? Thanks.
