Totally cool to close Cascades to traffic cutting through but not the main entrance totally to even parking there! Other entrance is 20 minutes away. W people won't use park as much or will kill gas in the environment if they do. At least allow some form of parking on south end. Get a new lot if needed. But that's the main access point. Why have City parks if you have to have unlimited time and an ablist bike to use them?

What appears like a noose hanging from a tree across from the playground and bridge In Lower Cascades Park.
A tree in the berm or curb strip appears to be dying and may need to be removed. I've been told these trees are the responsibility of the city. Can someone look at it and remove it if necessary? In addition, there are a few other trees on my lot which are very close to the road, and I don't know if they belong to me or the city. Can someone provide insight about this for me? Thank you.

The tree that is planted near our driveway has roots growing extremely close to the house, sewer, and ATT electrical boxes. We were planting plants today and noticed there is a large root next to out driveway and house. The roots have already caused the sidewalk to raise and crack and our driveway is already being lifted. More importantly, thick roots growing next to out house. We would like the current tree cut down to stop any further damage, especially to the structure of the house, driveway, and sewer. We are completely fine to have a different smaller tree planted in its place. Please advise as we recently had plumbing issues and wouldn't want this to get any worse. There is no maps of Switchyard park. It's not clear where facilities are so you can choose best parking area. Also there should be trail crossing signs on B-line. I walked right into traffic by pavilion, because I didn't realize I was approaching the trail. I thought trail ran along the side of the park, not right down the middle. Permanent signage is needed.
Please note: Although the location says 708, the address has been changed to 748. This report is in regard to a dangerous city tree. I am currently building a house at 748 N. Oolitic. There is a city alley right-of-way that runs behind my property from West 12th to West 11th. Only part of this right-of-way is actually used as for vehicle traffic. From roughly my northern property lot to West 11th St, the right-of-way is trees and grass. Within this section, there is an Ash tree that is dying/dead. This tree is in a location where any limbs or the entire tree itself would fall on my brand new house, my fence, or the shed I will be having placed in my backyard. As you can imagine, this is of huge concern to me. I am hoping the city could remove this tree as quickly as possible before any damage occurs. Right now it can be as easily accessed as it ever will be because my shed is due for delivery in 7 to 8 weeks and the rest of my fence is due to be installed not soon after that. With the wind and storms this time of year, this tree scares me. Believe me, I would have dealt with this sooner, but the tree wasn't in this condition last year. I hope you can help me out asap. Several trees on the east side of property, inside Winslow Woods, are dead and potentially could cause damage to my deck and house. The trees are all on city property and need to be removed as soon as possible. This last wind storm a dead tree fell and many others are certain to come down soon.
