There is an individual who at least on a weekly basis, tosses many empty beer cans (up to a half case at a time) into the cleared area of Griffey that is on Dunn, across from the group home. The Blue Ridge Bushwackers have removed the honeysuckle from this area and work to keep it clear. We regularly pick up this person's litter. Is there anything that can be done to discourage this behavior? Could we put up a fake camera and/or sign warning them? What suggestions would you have for us? Thank you! Jeannie Galbreath

I contacted the city forester twice and left a voicemail but I didn’t receive any response. This tree is in the city’s right of way and is declining. I was hoping to get advice to save it before it becomes a safety hazard. There are many young children in our neighborhood.

Ruth has a caregiver for day but not night. She is afraid at night because of the increased amount of transients she sees. There is an increase in the number of tents, they are above the BLine. Can someone contact her to let he know someone is looking into this.

Hello. I was on the TreeKeeper website awhile back and saw that there used to be a tree in the parkway between the sidewalk and 13th street. For the City arborist: there are two young trees growing side-by-side at the stop sign at 3rd and Fairview. One is a black walnut that I think should be cut down so the other one can grow to its full potential. They are so close it feels like they will just compete for space. We could have one very healthy street tree as opposed to two stunted ones. Thanks.

The trail lights on posts 137 and 138 are both out just to the east of Moravec. The second one to the west of Moravec is also very dim, probably 141.

I wanted to report that a city tree, that the city planted in the tree plot a couple years ago has been cut down, I assume by the adjoining property owner. Wanted the city to be aware of it, since you guys took the time and money to put it in.
