I tried to sign up for city email newsletters, but every single one got an "authorization failed" notice when I clicked on "join this group." I tried it from two different email addresses, and it still seems not to have worked.

At this location on the City website (http://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=3030)would you please update the information about Centerstone? The copy should read - Centerstone is a community-based behavioral healthcare provider. Persons with serious mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders are often homeless or at-risk. Centerstone serves people who are homeless and who struggle with behavioral health issues. Services are available in 17 Indiana counties and surrounding areas.
Centerstone has an extensive supportive housing continuum for adults with serious mental illness who are receiving clinical services from our clinics. Both transitional and permanent housing are available with varying levels of accompanying supportive services.
Centerstone has over 316 residential beds in 27 facilities. Forty-six of these beds are reserved for clients meeting the HUD definition of homelessness. People who are homeless have access to Centerstone's services, including intensive case management, psychiatric care, and employment assistance.

I find the city website rather difficult to use, and aesthetically, it isn't very pleasing. Personally, I find that it is in need of some updates and remodeling - it looks rather aged, and has many outdated links in pages. I am often very interesting in economic and park development, as well as future projects and proposals to the development of the city - such as the Certified Technology Park, and the Switchyard Park development. I hope to see a site redesign that streamlines everything, makes it beautifully simple, and highlights "new" news regarding city events and developments, while archiving some of the older events and developments.

It would be nice if there were a calender of events at Bryan Park and Bryan Park pool. If there is it is so well hidden that I could no find it. The park web site says that there are many events at the pool and park but does not list when they occur.

I was checking the City of Bloomington Holiday calendar, to see if they are open on Columbus day. No holidays are listed, so I guess that the City of Bloomington never takes a holiday off. Is that true?

Hi there!
My name is Melanie Nelson, I work in environmental services for Daly City. Our department is putting together a workshop on water conservation in the home as part of our "Going Green" series. We see it as a great way to protect the environment while also educating the community and saving them money, it's a win-win-win situation!
Your page, http://bloomington.in.gov/waterwise , has been awesome as a guide for the event planning committee, and we can't thank you enough for posting it!
The reason I'm emailing you is because a local middle school class has been helping us with the endeavor as a volunteer project and they (very proudly, I might add) found a great article here: http://www.improvenet.com/a/water-conservation-at-home . The article is a basic overview for children on water conservation in the home and its benefits, with links to several great sources for both children and adults. I think the kids would be absolutely stoked if you were to post a link to the article on your page, they love to help out wherever they can, and seeing the link on your page would show them that they've made a difference and their actions have had an impact (however small).
Please let me know if this is a possibility and I look forward to hearing back from you soon!
Thanks again!
-Melanie

No holidays are listed in the month mode for City Holidays. For example, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Martin Luther King Day are not listed.

If one goes to your website on an iPad, and clicks on the "view full site" link, it takes you to the home page of the non-mobile site. BUT if you click on anything on that page, it takes you back to the mobile site. If your mobile site included everything that is on the regular site, that wouldn't really be a problem, but your mobile site is very difficult to use, contact information is virtually nonexistent, and if you give the option of non-mobile, then it should actually work. I have been completely unable to locate an email address for Animal Control, because it doesn't seem to be on the mobile site at all.
