I am a resident here and they are building a new development, however there is no effort to keep run off from coming from the construction drive (our driveway is often covered in mud, gravel, and concrete run-off). It has gotten so out of control that there is literally a pile of concrete run-off on a sidewalk going down Allen St towards the neighboring apartment complex (Gardens Edge). They also have concrete run-off going into our yard space in the complex where many people take their dogs and children to enjoy the outdoors.

The issue with this ongoing construction site continues. The workers on-site drove over the silt fence that was supposed to stop concrete run off and they have made no attempts to fix it. Every single time it rains, there is a build up of run off on the sidewalk that prevents water from draining properly and is contaminating the water systems with who knows what. The property has not ever disposed of it properly either (they literally just shovel it onto a tree stump instead of renting a proper disposal receptacle).

I've been meaning to report for some time. During major rain events stormwater rushes into my basement in through the sanitary sewer drain. The last time was June 2021 and storm water poured in for 8-10 hours solid. Luckily I have installed a sump pump that kept the overall water level manageable. I've lived at this address for 10+ years and this problem has occurred 3-5 times total. It only happens when the storm water system is overwhelmed. I believe the same happens for my neighbors. Is there anything I can do to prevent more back flow during major rain events?

This storm drain is full of debris. I have attempted to clean it out, but to no avail. The curb and pavement surrounding it are also deteriorating and probably contributing to the issue. This street sees a lot of stormwater and this drain backs up quite a bit during heavy rain... This photo was taken 1/30 with only very light precipitation. The adjacent storm ditch pipe may also be clogged? I hope this can be repaired soon (prior to spring). It has been in this condition for at least 4 years and multiple neighbors have voiced concerns in the past.

Subsidence Small, still in its beginning stage. Observation; this not your first, second or even the third sewer grate to repaired in this neighborhood. Can I ask the question if it is a Mfg. defect in their storm grate design, or an installation issue. Hello. I am currently renting a duplex unit at 1701 S Buffstone Ct. Per my landlord, the city is responsible for maintaining the ditches that line E Thornton Dr. There is a lot of debris in the ditches at the moment. When it rains a lot, the ditches fill up with water, and sometimes overflow. Can you please clean up debris from the ditches that line the cul-de-sac? With renting a property, I am not eligible to purchase flood insurance, and so I would greatly appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you!
