The storm drain that was repaired last year washed out on first significant rain this spring. It's a deep crack in the concrete that goes down quite a way and could pose a risk to children in the area. Its right where the storm drain goes under Post road.
The sewer drain keeps getting clogged. I shoveled it out yesterday during the heavy rain but it keeps getting clogged with street debris. I'm worried it will get clogged again this afternoon and I won't be home to help with it.
I reported this before. Nothing has been done. It’s not getting any better on its own. Whoever James Hall is doesn’t seem to follow through on the reported safety issue since he closed the ticket without it being fixed. Perhaps he can try again? Or his boss can follow up so that no one gets hurt. This is a dangerous situation that will not fix itself without oversight.
The storm drain in the parking lot is so terrible that it has dropped close to 12 inches below the pavement. It’s not a pothole. It’s a crater! This can be allowed to stay this way.
The storm drain in the parking lot has sunk nearly 12 inches below level street/ground. It’s not a pothole around this drain. It’s a sinkhole that whole car tires can be swallowed in. It’s so unacceptable that this has been allowed to stay this way for weeks. There will be a person who truly is hurt severely one night when their car flips from hitting this in darkness.
The stormwater pipes that go under the railroad are once again blocked up. Along the B-Line Trail, across from lamppost 157.
We have had significant flooding at the intersection of 11th St and Blair Ave for many years. The water is high enough to jump the north curb and flood the sidewalk. What I realized in the last storm is that much of the problem stems from insufficient stormwater inlets upstream. In particular, there are no inlets near the intersection of 11th and Orris Dr, so the water simply follows the road and creates excess drainage demand on the inlets at Blair. We could really use an upgrade to the drainage system along 11th Street and its side roads in this area.
Culvert under drive way, and ditch on side of the driveway, are unable to handle volume of water coming down from the rest of the neighborhood, causing water to flood into garage and crawlspace.
