Purchased house in June and it appeared there had recently been a new sewage line of some type installed in the front yard. However, there is now just a broken clay pipe in the front yard and ground is very uneven where this pipe was left. I assume this should have been removed and level when the new line was installed?
HAZARD (I hope you can see the whole picture, not just grass): this is case #172549, the hole in the Hunter foot path, which has been referred to CBU. It has gotten considerably worse and is very dangerous at night. When there is no light, a cyclist might fly over the handle bar or a pedestrian might break an ankle or leg. This needs to be seen to asap.
Area near the hydrant replacement remains significantly depressed. Is a trip/fall hazard. I was waiting to see if grass would sprout and what that effect would be, but exceptionally minimal grass has grown despite significant moisture and coverage. 4021 E. Morningside Drive
Power or communication cables are tied down to a seemingly dead tree on the back of my property. Also large growth on neighboring pole in my front/side yard.
Fire hydrant was recently replaced in front yard. Big hole was dug as part of the work. Was filled in (Friday?). Ground where dug now is several inches obviously below rest of ground level. Assuming settled with aid of rain. Needs leveled.
My name is Steve Egyhazi segyhazi@iu.edu and I live at 3922 S Woods Edge Bend in Bloomington 47401, cellphone 812-340-0759. I am hopeful this form is the correct place to submit this concern: On or before 2/21/2020 I noticed that my front-yard sewer plate thing is all ripped up and askew like I've never seen it before and it just don't seem right. Here's a photo album you can see for yourself. https://photos.app.goo.gl/zojVXZeV3LNPraB17 I'm afraid of critters and lawn mowers etc messing this up even further. I did not do this and hopeful you can correct it or make sure the subcontractor that did do this can correct it. Thanks for any follow up by phone, sms, or email, I appreciate it. Regards, Steve Egyhazi, homeowner.
405 E 20th Street Bloomington IN: CBU repaired a water line at the rear of the property, removed a fence and did not repair or replace the fence. Reported to CBU Transmission & Distribution last week, not follow-up phone call. Olympus Properties (812) 334-8200
New water meters are being put in along Old State Road 37. There is a safety issue with the mess left behind. Workers have left large trash piles and large mounds of dirt behind where pedestrians walk. The gravel is settling and leaving dips in the grade.
This work was done 2 months ago (I'm not even sure what they were doing). My 15 year old boxwood hedges were destroyed, exposing the electrical box to the street, and not replaced. And there is a deep, exposed hole that gets deeper each time it rains, because it was not properly filled or re-seeded.
