Hello,
There has been utilities construction going on by our apartment for over a month now. We understand that there is a lot of noise that comes along with it, especially since they have to break through multiple feet of rock to be able to place new sewer lines. We have been understanding in the last few weeks as rock hammering began at 7AM and went on through 5PM Monday-Friday. Even as this construction extended to Saturdays as well.
As of last night however, the construction went on all night long. I am guessing that since this is a city run construction project that the noise ordinance was overlooked, however with the continued rock hammering this is unacceptable. It is disruptive and prevented us from sleeping through the night (which is especially impressive given that we have grown accustomed to the street noise typical of living on Walnut Street).
Again, we get that this is an important project and that there is a lot of noise that comes along with that. However work through the night cannot continue.
Sincerely,
Brandon Fricke

This is in reference to an issue reported back in November - Case 186167.
AEG was in our neighborhood in over three months ago, and left a haphazard trail of pipes sticking out of the ground, holes covered with thin sheets of plywood, and yards torn up and muddy. Can our neighborhood please have some sort of an update as to when they will be back to finish the job they started? Will yards be repaired and reseeded by this coming spring?

The fiber optic guys are here AGAIN! The are digging and drilling through our property. They asked if they could take down some of our fence to do their work. They admit they are back because they did not do a good job BEFORE.
Our issue - we are concerned of that these contractors will damage our property sewer and/or water lines and we will be the ones stuck to deal with the aftermath of repairs and expense of repairs.
Issue 2 - We have no idea on how to communicate with these guys!! What are our RiGHTS!
Can you guys help us out? We feel helpless!
