There is a yellow plug in the concrete that is a tripping hazard.
Hello, There has been utilities construction going on by our apartment for over a month now. We understand that there is a lot of noise that comes along with it, especially since they have to break through multiple feet of rock to be able to place new sewer lines. We have been understanding in the last few weeks as rock hammering began at 7AM and went on through 5PM Monday-Friday. Even as this construction extended to Saturdays as well. As of last night however, the construction went on all night long. I am guessing that since this is a city run construction project that the noise ordinance was overlooked, however with the continued rock hammering this is unacceptable. It is disruptive and prevented us from sleeping through the night (which is especially impressive given that we have grown accustomed to the street noise typical of living on Walnut Street). Again, we get that this is an important project and that there is a lot of noise that comes along with that. However work through the night cannot continue. Sincerely, Brandon Fricke
Fire hydrant is open -- water gushing out.
Water leak in city water line pre meter
Smithville is installing lines in my neighborhood. The road itself is narrow and for most of tosd, parking is allowed only on one side. The contractor ignores the no parking signs. They park large pieces of equipment illegally over night ehen they could park legally. They have also blocked us in by having equipment in the middle of the road with the other end closed. I understand that they need to have equipment where it is needed when they are working in the day, but not at night
We will not use garbage collection service for several months, but City will still charge us for the service unprovided, only because your billing system was set up that way. Is this legal to charge residents for the service you are not providing ? Sounds ridiculous and illegal. Hope Mr. Mayor could see to it and step in for a immediate correction. Thank you.
water meter cover (??) missing on sidewalk on the west side of college, just north of the train bridge (about a block south of 14th st). trip hazard. not sure if it was removed for construction or what but it's been gone for about a month. thanks!
