Hello. I am the property manager for Tamarron HOA. There is a cross walk to Univeristy Elementary School from Tamarron. We are having issues with speeding vehicles and children crossing the street. At the HOA board meeting tonight it was suggested putting a three way stop sign at the intersection of Callery Drive and Tamarron Drive to at least slow the traffic down. Who do we contact about this? One Board member brought up if there is a stop sign on the north end of Callery Drive and Tamarron Drive, it will re-route cars down the south side of Tamarron so maybe installing two stop signs at each end of Callery Drive and Tamarron Drive. Traffic southbound on Jordan is always held up by people waiting for the left turn to go east on Atwater. Countless times I've seen that the light has already cycled to yellow by the time northbound traffic has cleared, and as a result cars have backed up all the way to third st. If the switching equipment allows jordan southbound to get green BEFORE jordan northbound, it will improve intersection throughput tremendously.

I was traveling east on 10th St. and got into the right-hand turn lane (with turn signal on) to turn right/south on Smith Road. As I turned right, a car facing north on Smith Road turned left to head west on 10th St. and did not see an oncoming car and the eastbound car on 10th street had to brake quickly to avoid an accident...stopping within a few feet of the turning car. With the new traffic light at the Post Office intersection on 10th st, GPS is routing more people east/west on 10th street to/from Smith Rd and more locals are also using this route. This is turning an already dangerous intersection more dangerous. Turning left off smith onto 10th street requires timing to avoid a car coming east around the curve on east 10th street...and the same for turning left onto Smith off 10th street. Please consider a stop light at this intersection. Thank You.

There needs to be a traffic light at the intersection of 10th and Smith Rd. It can be very challenging turning on to 10th St. due to traffic that doesn't have to stop.

The intersection at Park Ave and Hunter Ave is a 2-way stop. There are multiple accidents there every year because: 1. The cars parked along the side of the road block views for those crossing Hunter 2. There is a large bush on the southwest corner that completely blocks the view west. Making this a 4-way stop would be much safer and easier to navigate.

I just moved to 2nd and Swain. The corner needs a stop sign for all ways, not just for traffic on Swain. Most of the intersections along 2nd have 4-way stops; this intersection is the exception for some reason. Drivers go way faster than the 25mph allowed; the area is quite congested with students moving back into the area.

I frequently travel N and S on Hunter, and it is very, very difficult because of street parking to see whether there is oncoming traffic at this Woodlawn intersection. (There are other similar situations in the neighborhood, but this one is particularly bad.) it would be wonderful if there were convex traffic mirrors to be able to see around the corner. These are commonly used in low-visibility corners in Europe, and can be highly effective.

The intersection at north 10th, Smith road, and Russell road is one of the most dangerous in Bloomington. I believe there needs to be a traffic light there to allow people to turn from Smith Road. It's almost impossible for drivers coming off Smith Road to turn either right or left onto 10th or Russell, especially during rush hour traffic. Visibility is poor because 10th street curves in unusual ways at that intersection, and none of the two-way traffic wants to yield. Bus traffic from 10th Street compounds the problem. Good afternoon. I live at 415 W. Graham Drive on the south side of Bloomington. I am writing in hopes of having a two- way stop become a four-way stop at the cross roads of Graham and Madison streets (and possible speed bumps put in). I have noticed (a lot) of drivers who turn on to Graham accelerate to a high speed because the west/ east of Graham does not have to stop at the intersection where Madison crosses (north to south). I cannot tell you how many times I have heard breaks squeal because the driver at the stop sign does not realize that cross traffic does not stop. Graham has a very high volume of foot traffic whether it be pedestrians walking to the bline, or their pets, or children walking home from the school bus. This makes for a very dangerous situation. I realize this is not a residential neighborhood- it's more of a city street, but I am concerned for everyone's well being and I believe making that a four-way stop would aide in motorists to slow down and be more aware of their surroundings. I was wondering if there could be signage added on W. 3rd Street to encourage people to use the "zipper" merge when traveling westbound towards HWY 37 during this construction? When I try to travel home each day, traffic is backed up from the highway to Liberty Drive, with all cars in the right lane, due to signs warning of the left lane being closed ahead (at the intersection of Fairfield Dr. and Highway 37). People are trying to be courteous, but they are actually slowing down traffic by doing this. I have seen a sign before that said "Use both lanes during backup" - could that be a possibility? I live on Fairfield Dr., so everyday is tough and people seem to be making poorer choices each day because of the traffic. Thank you for your time.
