Need to clearly mark traffic lanes on 3rd street heading west thru Dunn Street intersection - it appears as one wide lane since the bike lane was marked and there are two lanes of traffic, in a curve.
Thank you.

I work at IU at 201 N Indiana in the "International Programs" building. Cars go the wrong way ALL of the time & it's so dangerous. Using either images or words, I suggest 2 "Do not enter" signs on the back of the 2 stop signs on Indiana at 7th, a "Left only" (or 'not right') sign on 6th at Indiana, & "Do not enter" on the back of the stop signs on 6th at Indiana. Happy to explain more. Deb

Poorly timed traffic lights. maybe it seems like a small problem, and maybe its only noticeable during the summer months, but it seems common that cars are brought up to full speed only to have to stop at the next light while traveling a main route (Walnut, College Mall Rd, and Winslow Rd). It would be spectacular to allow the algorhythm thats used o determine when the lights change to be open source and worked on by IU informatics students. My primary concern stems from fuel efficiency.

As a resident on the east side of Bloomington, I often find myself on 10th street because it is a main artery through town. I've always wondered why there isn't a designated left turn lane with a left arrow traffic light to help the traffic flow at the intersection at 10th and Pete Ellis. The designated lanes are as follows. Left turn/Straight and a right turn lane. People who turn left aren't able to do so easily because it's a busy street and people who wait behind them are forced to try to re-enter the traffic flow because other cars decide to use the right turn lane to go straight. Unless I'm mistaken, creating your own lane of traffic is frowned upon, so I'm constantly frustrated by the fact that I sit patiently in the left/straight lane behind a car waiting to turn, and then as I'm entering the intersection, have to watch out (yielding to cars that have decided to go around the situation) to avoid getting sideswiped.
Perhaps the city developers could look at this particular problem and re-designate the lanes or use resources to get a new light with a left turn arrow. I can't be the first person to have complained about the safety of this intersection.

We would like to post or have the city post signage redirecting 46 bypass traffic to pete ellis for the businesses effected by the closed entrance to the strip malls at 46 Bypass and 3rd Street. At Starbucks, we have lost over a third of our business since the closing of that entrance. Similar reports are available from the surrounding local businesses.

Turning west onto the 45/46 bypass at walnut... the turn arrows let about 4 or 5 cars go thru at best... even if they speed off the line... can the duration of the green arrow be lengthened a "few cars" or so...

W. 3rd St. from Walker to Patterson needs line painting. From Ronson to Patterson the yellow line is totally gone this is an area that’s going to have a lot of student activity and they don’t understand about parking and double parking line painting would help.

Between 4pm and 6pm traffic is usually backed up on Smith rd. If there was a left turn signal for however long or adjust the green on Smith rd an extra 20 seconds could also help during those time frame.

Request for traffic barrier to be placed on Robinson Rd. There is a very steep valley directly off the road which is slightly curved. I fear for safety in the winter as a fall would result in fatality. If it is a possibility please call or email for a specific location. Thanks
