My phone number, 812-219-6692 is improperly being associated with "Red Brick Apartments" in Bloomington. I receive wrong number phone calls at all hours. When speaking to a wrong number, they informed me my number was posted at the "Sloan Center" on Walnut Street, an organization helping those less fortunate to find homes. Is there any remedy, contact info, or help you can provide? Thank you! -Jordan Levinson IU Class of '04
I am curious if Bloomington has a service where I can report a rental company that does not act in accordance with state laws (no notice for rental showings) and public health regulations (my septic tank leaks into my back yard and they won't fix it). Is there a city service that can help me with these issues?

I would just like to know what license I would need to open a retail store in downtown Bloomington area. I will be selling year round gardening supplies.
A business has moved into the former Sterling Glass building at this address. They have placed a large blue dumpster on the lawn at the west edge of their property. According to 20.05.067 of the UDO this dumpster is supposed to be enclosed and on pavement. The property is zoned CG.
I live in Michigan and am interested in filing a small claims against an Indiana Corporation. And am in need of information as it relates to filing from out of state. Filing from Michigan where I live. Is this a possibility? Pastor Weems
I am very annoyed by the new Tap bar on the corner of College and Kirkwood in the center of our downtown because they broadcast through speakers to the sidewalk area anything and everything: TV, sports casts, music, live entertainment. It is annoying and inappropriate for that area of the downtown. I think it cheapens the area. Can anything be done to stop it?

Saraga Oriental Market at 1305 S College Mall Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401 has a credit card processing system that is so old it takes 5 minutes for each transaction. Recently, even that broke down and so they stopped printing out credit card receipts and just give out slips of the total amount that was presumably charged to the credit card, without any information about what items were purchased and what quantity and so on. I say presumably because I've also read on student boards that sometimes Saraga charge 2-3 times for the same transaction, probably because the credit card processor is so old. Could this be cause for a tax audit? It would certainly be a cause for a better business investigation.
